Drop-in and Career Advising Appointments

ALICIA HAZEN advising studentsThe Student Academic Affairs & Career Development Office offers drop-in advising appointments Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Drop-in appointments are generally 10-15 minute appointments to have quick career-related questions answer. Resume and cover letter reviews may also take place during drop-in advising times. We ask that you bring a printed copy of your resume or cover letter with you for review. Or you can bring your laptop or login to one of our lobby computers to pull it up during your appointment.

For more complicated career advising questions and conversations, you may schedule a 30-minute academic advising appointment with a SoHE career advisor using the Starfish online scheduler found in your MyUW portal. Search “Starfish” and follow the instructions. Having trouble? Contact 608-262-2608 or advising@sohe.wisc.edu.
