Leaders become great not because of their power but, because of their ability to empower others.

— John Maxwell

As Assistant Director, Financial Life Skills Program, I am excited to be a part of the SoHE initiative providing financial education and capabilities in the classroom and across campus. My passion lies in watching students grow and develop not only as young professionals but as individuals. I love the Peer Educator model of the FLS courses. It’s invigorating to watch students teach their peers while developing leadership abilities and confidence in themselves. I am also part of the Student Academic Affairs and Career Development team, advising students in the Personal Finance major.

Being that I am a Badger alumna, I am thrilled to be back on campus as a part of the SoHE community. After spending six years in Chicago it was time to come home, and that’s exactly what UW is for me. Once a Badger, always a Badger. On Wisconsin!
