Teachers who love teaching teach children to love learning.

– Robert John Meehan

Ever since I was a child I wanted to be a teacher. While going to college I started my career as an assistant teacher at a small preschool in Beloit, Wisconsin. That experience made me realize how much I enjoyed working in the early childhood field. I have spent over 20 years working in a preschool setting and I still find every day to be a new adventure. I began teaching at the Child Development Lab in the fall of 1999. For the majority of my time at the CDL I have taught 2-3 year olds. It’s a great age and it’s where I feel I belong. I also feel very fortunate to have made so many connections with different families over the years. I look forward to many more years of teaching in the Madison community.
