While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about.

– Angela Schwindt

I truly believe that early education builds the foundation for a lifetime of success. I am so fortunate to work at the Child Development Lab where I am able to be at the forefront of early childhood education. Implementing best practice and having the opportunity to continually learn and collaborate with other teachers is what attracted me most to the Child Development Lab. After teaching in England for 9 years, I wanted to be a part of something bigger here in Wisconsin. I wanted to be close to the international community on campus and be part of SoHE, which not only focuses on teaching, but research and outreach as well. I believe as early childhood educators we have a duty to advocate and share with the community best practice and the latest child development research.
