I use sculpture as a way of visually and physically communicating ideas of anxiety, sadness, masculinity, and dysfunction. The appearance of my work functions as self portraiture and vaguely references the human body -more specifically, my body- by using posture, pose, and shape to convey pathos. The color pink has been a source of comfort, understanding, protection, and safety for me, and my work.
