Having respect for the world is when you allow people to be what they are.

–Magda Gerber

I knew at a young age that I wanted to be a teacher. I pursued my career path by enrolling at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Soon after graduating, I started teaching in a preschool and realized that Early Childhood Education was my true passion. I taught children ages 2-5 for 27 years before transitioning to teaching infants and young toddlers. Teaching this age group has opened my mind to an entire new realm of connecting with children. Educating and respectful caregiving is now a philosophy that I embrace. My aim is to convey to others the incredible amount of knowledge and skills our youngest learners possess.
