Internships for Spring 2020

We have filled all internship opportunities for Fall 2019. If you are interested in applying for Spring 2020 please submit an application by November 10th.
We will be offering 14 paid internships for Spring 2020. Internships for the Spring will begin on January 21st (training days January 15th and 16th) and end on May 1st.
Positions:
  • Bunny class interns (ages 3-5)
    • hours: Tuesday, Thursday 8:30-3:00 (half hour lunch break)
    • hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1:00-5:00
  • Fox class interns (ages 3-5)
    • hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-10:30
    • hours: Monday-Friday 2:30-4:30
  • Otter class interns (ages 3-5)
    • hours: Tuesday, Thursday 8:00-2:30 (hour lunch)
    • hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1:00-5:00
  • Chipmunk class interns (ages 2-3)
    • hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30-12:30
    • hours: Tuesday, Thursday 12:30-5:30
  • Duck class interns (ages 2-3)
    • hours: Tuesday, Thursday 8:00-1:00
    • hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1:00-5:00
  • Dragonfly class intern (ages 6 weeks-2 years)
    • **students who have taken HDFS 501 with Amy Wagner preferred
    • hours: Tuesday, Thursday 8:00-2:30 (half hour lunch)
    • hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1:00-5:00
  • Honeybee class intern (ages 6 weeks-2 years)
    • **students who have taken HDFS 501 with Amy Wagner preferred
    • hours: Tuesday, Thursday 8:00-2:30 (half hour lunch)
    • hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1:00-5:00
CPR and 1st Aid will be on January 15th from 9:00-4:00
Orientation will be on January 16th from 9:00-2:30

Assistant Teacher Openings

Each semester we hire students to work as assistant teachers throughout the day.

Academic Staff – Lead Teacher Openings

Academic Staff teaching positions require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or closely related field.
