How to Meet with an Advisor

  • Current SoHE students can either schedule an appointment. Prospective students have separate options for meeting with an advisor.
  • For career advising, schedule an appointment with one of our career advisors.

Drop-In Hours for Current SoHE Students

  • No drop-in advising during the summer term. Drop-in advising will return at the start of fall semester.

Prospective SoHE Students

  • Students exploring SoHE majors must complete a Becoming a SoHE Student (BASS) workshop
  • BASS covers SoHE curriculum requirements, what makes Human Ecology unique, career options, and how to apply to or declare a SoHE major
  • Students will work with academic advisors to review DARS reports/curriculum checksheets and will receive group advising
