Partners in Giving Is Here through November 30!

Combined campaign, partners in giving

Because we care – we act!

Partners in Giving is a once-a-year, volunteer-driven workplace campaign through which State of Wisconsin, University of Wisconsin, and University Hospital & Clinics employees in Dane County can give conveniently to many of their favorite charitable organizations. It combines the efforts of 11 umbrella organizations representing hundreds of charities, into one eight-week campaign from mid-October to the end of November.

This is where we shine, SoHE has a well-earned reputation of rising to the call – ain’t no one on this campus does it better. Last year our participation rate was 58%, this year our target is 60%.

Not that we are competitive, it’s just that, well, if we don’t lead the way who will?

You can make your gift online or on the paper form in your Partners in Giving packet. Packets were placed in mailboxes in a few weeks ago. If you choose the paper form, please drop it off with Deb Olson, Partners in Giving team, in the Dean’s Suite (2135).

No amount is too small – the collective strength of many employees pays off. You can donate to the charity of your choice – there are 500 plus to choose from (all outlined in your booklet on online here).

70% of donors donate through automatic payroll contributions which makes it easy to give.

But wait, there’s more! Tammy, tell these good people what’s behind the curtain….it’s a tasty hot chocolate bar on November 15 in the Dean’s suite (2135), 12:00pm – 2:30 pm

That’s right, the SoHE Partners in Giving team is hosting a “Build a Better Hot Chocolate Bar” next week. For a modest/suggested donation you can customize a mug of hot chocolate and help us build a better world, one cup at a time. Our goal, (for a suggested donation of $2-3), is to move 100 cups of tasty, oh so good hot chocolate. Mmmm, it’s like a warm hug full of giving goodness.
