Because we care – we act!
Partners in Giving is a once-a-year, volunteer-driven workplace campaign through which State of Wisconsin, University of Wisconsin, and University Hospital & Clinics employees in Dane County can give conveniently to many of their favorite charitable organizations. It combines the efforts of 11 umbrella organizations representing hundreds of charities, into one eight-week campaign from mid-October to the end of November.
As a community, SoHE has led the campus for the last two years, and we hope to do so again this year. Not that we are competitive, it’s just that, well, if we don’t lead the way who will?
You can make your gift online at www.giving.wi.gov or on the paper form that was delivered to all SoHE employee mailboxes this week.
Please make your gift, or drop off your giving form with Deb Olson in the Dean’s Suite (2135), by November 23 to count toward our goal of 65 gifts by the November all School meeting. You can also make your gift online at giving.wi.gov
Reminder, if we “hustle” and have 65 SoHE gifts by the all School meeting, Dean Shim has agreed to share her appreciation in a 1970’s themed way. As of 11/1, we have received 18 gifts.
You can donate to the charity of your choice – there are 500 plus to choose from (all outlined in your booklet or online at giving.wi.gov). 70% of donors donate through automatic payroll contributions which makes it easy to give. A brand new feature this year allows you to login with your Wisc NetID. It’s never been this simple! Will you join your colleagues and make your gift today? Be a Partner in Giving by supporting your favorite nonprofit charity organizations.
Thank you for your contribution to the community! If you have any questions, feel free to contact any member of the SoHE Partners in Giving Team:
