Entrance to Nancy Nicholas Hall, home of UW School of Human EcologyPlan a Visit to SoHE

All potential graduate student applicants are welcome to visit SoHE and experience life at Nancy Nicholas Hall. The ideal time of year is when most faculty and students are on campus, September through May.

We encourage applicants to contact specific faculty members to explore mutual interests and learn more about their graduate option of interest, and to contact departments with general questions about SoHE’s graduate program options.

Feel free explore our resources online and in person, including the Helen Louise Allen Textile Collection and the Preschool Labs. While at SoHE, sit in on a class and tour campus facilities and attractions, such as labs, the student unions, or the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery.

If you have any general questions about the graduate programs or visiting, please contact the School of Human Ecology Graduate Program Coordinator or the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs & Graduate Programs.
