Title/Department: Master of Science in Human Ecology
Jessica’s field of interest is social change and community development through nonprofit leadership. She hopes to explore how nonprofit organizations can be used to eliminate systematic inequalities and how organizations can best use their resources to be the most effective for the population in which they serve.
Education and Relevant Experience
Jessica earned a Bachelor of Science in Community and Nonprofit Leadership from UW – Madison in the spring of 2017. Throughout her undergraduate career she had experiences working with various nonprofit organizations and spent a summer as an AmeriCorps volunteer at Schools of Hope in Madison. After graduating, Jessica spent a year working as the Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Autism Society of Wisconsin as well as a Match Specialist for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fox Valley. Jessica is now earning her M.S. in Human Ecology and is a Graduate Assistant for the Wisconsin School of Business where she is a lecturer for the Personal and Professional Foundations of Business course.
