This Earth Day, April 22, take a stand for sustainability in Nancy Nicholas Hall. The SoHE community hosts many events throughout the year. What if we could make these events more sustainable by changing the way we source and serve food and drinks?
Well, we can!
Source Better: SoHE students have created a Sustainability@SoHE Preferred Vendor List that will be marketed to students, staff, and faculty. Please stop by the 3rd floor terrace from 1-2 pm on Friday, April 22, to sample some of the items and provide feedback on the vendor list.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: If you’re able, BRING A REUSABLE DISH to donate to the Sustainability@SoHE dish drive. Large platters, bowls, tongs, pitchers, and other servingware will be accepted. These items will be stored in a central location in Nancy Nicholas Hall and any member of the SoHE community will be able to borrow these dishes free of charge. (P.S. Thrift stores and Craigslist are a great place to look if you don’t have anything in your own kitchen.)
We hope to see you there for great snacks and even better community!
