Service Learning
The faculty in the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies values, supports, and incorporates service-learning components in several department courses.
Service learning undergirds the department's mission of utilizing community and external audiences to enhance students learning experiences that will broaden their understanding of course work in human ecology and its relationship to the needs of the community beyond the university.
